Head Teacher Welcome
Dear Parents, Carers, Schools, and Local Authorities,
Thank you for your interest in ACE Alternative Provision.
ACE is an independent school located in Edmonton, North London, serving primary and secondary students with a range of additional needs that impact their learning. Many of our students thrive in our smaller setting, where they receive dedicated support at every step of their journey. We offer an individualised curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs of each pupil. ACE aims to provide education for young people aged 7–16 who are at risk of permanent exclusion, are school refusers, or face challenges in mainstream settings due to social, emotional, or mental health needs.
We work closely with local schools, local authorities, and the special educational needs departments in Enfield, Haringey, Barnet, and Hertfordshire. Some students join us for long-term support, while others attend on a shorter basis before successfully reintegrating into mainstream education. Our pupils study a broad range of subjects at both KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on reading, literacy, and numeracy skills.
At ACE, students experience a supportive and welcoming environment. We hold high expectations for behaviour and encourage young people to develop strong self-discipline to help maintain a safe and positive school atmosphere. All students are encouraged to strive for excellence, supported by our experienced team of mentors who work closely with them each day to address any challenges they may face.
ACE offers personalised learning programmes with class sizes of up to eight students. Our goal is to remove barriers to learning so that young people feel safe, confident, and happy to attend school daily. We foster an atmosphere of tolerance and respect, creating an environment conducive to learning and free from unnecessary risks.
Our team at ACE is enthusiastic and dedicated, holding high standards and always willing to go the extra mile for the success of our students. We are committed to their educational, moral, and social development, empowering them with the skills to overcome learning challenges and re-engage with their education. ACE provides students with the resilience and confidence they need to succeed, offering a mainstream curriculum within a supportive, smaller setting.
